In a similar thread, the continuing beta is for adventurous souls who keep good backups of all their data. The latest beta seems to work OK for Writer and Calc but is a disaster for Impress.
I now have a collection of about 20 files that will no longer open in OOo114. I don't know exactly what causes it or when but if you work in Impress files, the are fine until you save it and then it no longer opens. Trying to find something coherent, and reproducible to file an issue.
It is a good idea to only play in a beta, if in any way your job, livelihood or anything else critical to your existence is important to you.

Yes this is true and has been said MANY times in this list.
Additionally, it has been said many times that unless a release is called a *Beta* It is not. 1.9.85 is not a Beta release, it is a devleoper snapshot and is not as stable as a beta release *even though* the build number is greater.
As is often said, don't use any 2.0 builds for mission critical files.
Since you are having trouble, you should file and issue with issuezilla.
