Ok, looks like I didn't express myself correctly (yet again!). Here is try two: In version 1.x, I could do a File | Open and specify a URL to open, and it would open in Writer. Now, with the new File Open dialog, whenever I try to open a URL, I get an error. For example, if I try to open http://www.duperval.com/index.html, the error I get is "No file or directory /home/laurent/http" I just tried it now with 1.9.79 and it works as expected on Windows but not on Linux (1.9.84). My expectation is that specifying a http:// protocol would open the file in Writer Web. I'm downloading .84 for Windows to see if it's a regression.
