I have installed the 2.0 Beta on the same configuration. The 2.0 Beta will install in a different folder to 1.1.4. It won't overwrite 1.1.4. What it may do is start opening up your 1.1.4 files. If you are just trying out the Beta (it is not recommended for production use yet) you can re-register 1.1.4 as the owner of 1.1.4 standard files (sxw, sxc, etc) by running the 1.1.4 setup.exe and choosing 'repair'. The Beta will then only open its own files (odt, odb, etc).
