Today, for no reason I can figure out, my documents have a single line
that appears to be a border at the bottom of each page and prior to

and page styles to select no line width or even white on white, but the
settings will not stick. I have no headers or footers and no
footnotes. If I open a blank default template document, It starts out
with no borders, and I can paste the titles or one paragraph into it,
but if I paste anything after that, the border appears.
I'm working with OOo 1.1.4 on Linux and the templates originated on my
notebook using OOo 1.1.4 on Windoze 98.
Any help would be appreciated.
I don't have a place to post a document, but I could email one to anyone
who wants to have a look at it.
Have you tried unchecking Tools>Autoformat/Autocorrect>Options>Apply Border?
