Well the issues start with line 3 of your Chapter on Databases and Tables
which states that one must have Java installed.

I checked and this computer does have Java installed. I would have been
greatly surprised if I had not of installed it when I installed the system
but I check anyway.

I also checked to see if OO recognizes that java is installed. OO does not
even though Java was installed when OO-1.9 was installed. So first issue is
how do I get OO-1.9 to recognize Java?

Second I noted that I need to use a new JDBC driver which I know is not
installed. So installing this driver is the second issue with making
connections function.

Any suggestion would be helpful.

Thanks
Frank
