You said a "seemingly successful installation"... can you list all the steps you took (they should be download, unzip, run setup.exe, choose options, install) so we can determine if it was successful? Another volunteer also suggested this: Why can't you open it? What error, etc? Does it just do nothing? If it just does nothing, hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
