Hi,
I looked on the OOo website, and everywhere else I could think of, but found nothing...
When I update the 1.1.x version, I simply delete the files in: \Program Files\OOo1\
and then install the new version in the same directory. Then, next time I run OOo from a User, it prompts me to update the User Installation.
No worries, been working perfectly for over a year (many, many updates).
I just tried to do the same thing with 2.x and it barfed.
What is the proper procedure for upgrading between 2.x snapshot versions?
Thanks,
With the 2.0 BETA releases, you need to understand these aren't upgrades but developer snapshots intended for testing. I suspect that when the stable version is released in a month or so, the upgrade process will work as you're accustomed. In the meantime, it isn't really healthy to replace your stable version installation with beta software unless you only use your computer for testing.
