YOu only want handouts and you have setup the handout format you want?
File > Print > Options is where to look. BTW, there is information in
Help on this subject that may assist you. Also there is some good
manuals, HOW-TOs et cetera at http://documentation.openoffice.org/ that
I encourage you to explore.
