I search the list archives and help, but I can't find the difference between recalculate (F9) and Recalculate Hard (Ctrl+Shift+F9.
They seem to do the same thing in the Calc.
Anyone know the difference>? I am using 1.9.87.
Thanks,
Help > Contents > Index > Search term >recalculating;sheets says that Recalculate Hard (Ctrl+Shift+F9) forces a recalculate. I would guess that this means that the recalcuation is performed regardless of other conditions.
Right, read that, I don't know what that mean. For every function I have used, other than =randbetween(), F9 and shift+ctrl+F9 have the same function.
But, in the shortcut keys list Tools > Configure > Keyboard, there is a distinction between a recalc, and a recalc hard. Just want to know what it is.
Is this the kind of thing I should as the dev list? Which address should I use?
Thanks.
