I hope you mean pictures that are linked into your document. If yes then continue. Paths to Linked graphics can be edited et cetera using Edit > Links. THat way you can replace one graphic with another either by using the same name or by fixing the path (not absolutely certain that this can be done in 1.1.x) THen updating the links. -- PLEASE KEEP MESSAGES ON THE LIST.
