BINGO...!
Yes, that was it! Thank you SO much!
I had a sort list, which I don't even need... so I erased it and now things work like expected!
A few updates ago, OOo sorted the the Scnadinavian letters æøåäö wrong and I experimented a lot before I filed an issue. Next update the Scandinavian letters were sorted in the order they were supposed to, which felt very nice since it's always nice to know that someone listen to you... However I forgot to remove my experimental sort list, which contained a spelling error..! Instead of ...,q,r,s,t,u,v... I accidently missed the s key and hit the d key instead, so it was ...,q,r,d,t,u,v... That's why S wasn't "lovercased"!
Thanks again!
I was almost having thoughts about that all of this is a bad dream or something... ha ha ha
And I thought I erased that sort list months ago, but obviously not...
Also thanks to all of you who came up with suggestions!
Best regards
Johnny

I tried it again, a few seconds ago. Everything was entered into A1. Before every new change in settings I closed OpenOffice and then opened it again from the Start menu. I also tried to open a new spreadsheet, but the result were the same.
Do you have a user-defined sort list containing the lower case letters? Sort list entries are also used for AutoInput.
