Hi Tony,

The way I solved my problem is as follows:

First, I have an HP Photosmart printer with an envelope tray. Every time I went
to print out an envelope, the printing was always mis-aligned to the top right
corner - essentially printing the addresses horizontally on a vertical
alignment.

After around the 4th wasted envelope I noticed that, when I had previously been
selecting "Insert > Envelope", there had also been, un-noticed until now,
another tab on the Envelope dialog box called "Printer". When I clicked on this
"Printer" tab, I was greeted with the ability to change the printing alignment
of my envelopes. I then selected the alignment that matched my printers
envelope tray, inserted the envelope into my current document, clicked print,
and I received a perfectly printed envelope from my printer.

I hope that these steps will help the other people who are unable to correctly
print their envelopes.

Great news! So many people don't seem to get envelopes working at
all. I'd appreciate it if you can tell me briefly what your problem was
and how you overcame it. I have a special interest in envelope
  problems.

  Thanks in anticipation
