I�ve developed a couple of tools to deal with Microsoft Media Package (mpf) files. These files contain Microsoft bundles of clipart, and are distributed with MS Office as well as being downloadable from Microsoft�s Clip Art collection at http://office.microsoft.com/clipart.
The tools are both cross-platform, command-line driven, and released under the GPL: (1) oogalleryimport (http://oogalleryimport.sourceforge.net/) Imports any type of media directly into Oo�s gallery, including mpf files. OOo 2.0beta or greater is required. (2) mpftools (http://mpftools.sourceforge.net/) Allow you to extract the media files from the mpf, but does not automatically import them into Oo�s gallery. Can be useful for many applications. Try them out. Please help me make them better tools by posting your comments, bugs reports, or requests for enhancements at the tool�s respective sites.
