Thank you Brian. I was trying to do the whole thing with one formula.
I haven't used Excel. Can't afford it.

Place your cursor in the cell you want to copy Edit > Copy Place the cursor in the destination cell Edit > Paste
Copying a cell with a formula in it copies the formalu, and updates the row and column references in it - try it and look at the result in the formula bar.
Where do you go from here? If you were near where I live you could come to one of my beginners, or intermediate, computer classes. We run some cheap ones thru a local "Community House" scheme (partly subsidised)
