They don't seem to acknowledge the heritage, however....
I wonder if they tell their customers to come to us for support? ;)
They don't have to, the program does. Try this:
*Help > Support*
Right there our website is listed.
Heck, the name of the program is OpenOffice.org, doesn't take a genius to find the website! :)
So this company not only rips off the project they expect us to do there support. Never. What they and others have done with re-labelling OOo may be sharp business in the Bill Gates sense but expecting free support is another thing. Where is the money? Cosmi has not supported the project in any fashion that I can find. Nuts to them.
Isn't advertising a form of support. A quote from <http://www.openoffice.org/contributing/marketing.html>.
"We need people to distribute OpenOffice.org CDs. Whether you give them away for free, or sell them at a profit, you will be helping OpenOffice.org reach more users. If you visit the Distribution project hope page you will learn about distributing OpenOffice.org and how we can help."
