Is there a way to tell if you are subscribed or not without unsubscribing. Is there like a list of users?

I just imagined that if you go through the "unsubscribe" routine and subsequently don't receive the daily avalanche of emails from the list, then you're unsubscribed. Seems to work for me every time :-) Yes, there probably is a list of users available to the "list-owner" but it's probably got thousands of names on it.
