[users] Page numbering, headers & footers

It appears that the only way to number pages in OpenOffice is to insert 
page numbers into a header or footer. However, if I do this on the 
second page of a document, it creates the header/footer on the first 
page as well, where I don't want a page number.

Secondly, is there any way to revise the header or foot in the midst of 
a document (I understand about left and right pages), or does each 
chapter have to be a separate document?
