I did not know that you could read a keyboard configuration from a file.
If you can, then you are wanting to know how to do this using the API I suppose. I recommend that you ask on the dev list, because I can not find anything in the API that looks like it will do that. This does not mean that it is not there, and it may require the use of a dispatch if it is possible.
