What version of OOo were you using (1.1.4 or 2.0 beta) ?

I cannot reproduce the problem in 1.1.3 on Mandrake 10.1 - formula both copies OK and no crash.

Do you have the  same problem if you try another or a new spreadsheet?

If it is not confidential and you want to have me look at it, I am willing to try it if you send it to me off list. I wouldn't regard myself as an expert, but have a couple of years of use of OOo behind me and am willing to have a look. At least we might be able to work out whether a bug report is in order.
