It goes against my sense of fair play, for one thing. Maybe in the long run the answer is to grit one's teeth and be helpful, while at the same time making transparently clear the sales practices of the company concerned. It may be possible to keep the purchasers 'on side' while the company goes to the wall, which it presumably will if enough of their customers find they can get the product free. OTOH I'm not exactly one of those providing the support. If there's an OOo FAQ (such ignorance I show :-) ), maybe there should be a section about just this sort of sales practice, so people can be pointed there. -- various incoming sites blocked because of spam; see http://www.scottsonline.org.uk for a list and openpgp crypto key (key fingerprint 2ACC 9F21 5103 F68C 7C32 9EA8 C949 81E1 31C9 1364) [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
