The only other list-ism I really learned here was that bottom posts are preferred so that people can read in chronological order.

I am of two minds on that one. In particular Outlook Express makes it a harder to bottom post. I do try to quote appropriate lines and respond in chronological order, but I am not consistent.

I agree, Outlook isn't a really good program with this.

(I will only send this one message about Outlook and then continue on discuss if it progresses.)

There is a program call outlook quotefix, I don't know where, but I bet Google does that allows it and works pretty well. Or, I would suggest trying Mozilla Thunderbird. Overall, I have been very happy with it.

Many thanks. My .sig is about twice your suggested limit, and I will trim it a bit.

The other thing I learned is that if you preceed your sig with a -- the a lot of e-mail apps will snip it so it doesn't show up in replies.

I appreciate you suggestions on how to post without being annoying.

For the record, I never called you annoying. :)
