Dear friends,
I wish to enter a date format in the cells as "01/04-", but each time I enter 01/04- it automatically change it to 01/04/05.
The one way I can stop it from changing is by typing in '01/04- , that way it will keep that date as 01/04-.
I know that we can solve this problem either by adding a ' before the date or by formatting the cells.
But my client (I am providing support for my company's migration) doesn't like it. She said last time when she entered 01/04- it stays aas what she typed by default. She didn't need to do any formatting or add a ' in front. I am not sure if what she says is true....if anyone knows, please guide me.
