Dear friends,
I inserted page number but instead of the page number I got the word "page number" there. I read from the mailing list someone asked the same questions before. And Daniel mentioned as below:

Oh. That's very strange.
Let me see if I understand: If you go to
Insert > Fields > Page Number
Instead of getting a page number, you get the word "page number".
Correct?
If this is the case, then it is probably a bug.
What version of OpenOffice do you have? What operating system do you have? (e.g. Windows, Linux, Mac, Solaris).
Please send all your answers to [email protected] so that all the volunteers can see them. Perhaps one of them will figure this out.

The print preview shows the actual page number but hte print out doesn't.
