Hi

How did you go about inserting point d)?

If you put the cursor at the end of the line of point c) and press 
<Enter> the new para has the formatting of point c

If you put the cursor at the beginning of the line of point 3. and 
press <Enter> the new para has thefomratting of point 3.

So you get it either way depending on where the cursor is positioned.
