Hi. I'm using OOo 1.1.4 Writer on Windoze 98 (My other computer runs
Linux ;) ). Last night something happened and when I clicked the
mouse anywhere in the text, it highlighted a whole block of text
(presumably from the last cursor position to where the mouse was now).
The little box in the status bar said "STD". I could not find any way
to turn this off. All I wanted to do was to use the mouse to select a
new cursor position - which is how it has always worked for me before.
I had to exit OOo completely and start it up again to get the normal
behavior back. What did I do to cause this and how do I turn it off
when it happens again?
