Would you please quote more of my email? This statement was taken out of context. It is the screen resolution that can cause problems. Older laptops in particular (as mine, a 1998 version) have this problem. I use Win 98SE on that laptop. The main reason for stating what OS I was using was to emphasize how this problem can be solved using that OS: using Alt+mouse drag.
I think he was responding to my comment that it was a Win 98 issue. I have seen this issue many times reported in IZ and on the list and it is always (I think) with Win 98 machines.
In general, it is good to snip messages and leave only the part you are responding too. Most people view the messages in threads, either in e-mail or a news reader, so it is general not necessary to quote a whole message, and sometimes quoting a whole message just doesn't make sense.
