Question: Can I install 1.9.95 with 1.9.69? I run XP with SP1. I have 1GB RAM and an Athlon processor, and lots of space on a relatively fast disk.
I presently run 1.9.69. My system has been rock solid since I replaced the hard drive (a second time.) 1.9.69 is old, but it is more stable and has fewer bugs than 1.1.4 (that I removed before installing 1.9.69.) Can two beta versions be installed on the same machine? I don't want to remove or to screw up 1.9.69. It works well for me for word processing and spread sheets. BUT I DO want to try 1.9.95. Advice anyone? Finally: I understand that 1.1.4 and an OO.o beta can be installed on the same machine, and I understand that if subsequently I remove 1.1.4, I have to run install again with the repair option.
