Well Drat and DOUBLE DRAT! It turns out that you are exactly correct,
and that is the situation under XP as well.
Here is why I say this:
I just realized that when I had all the CPU cycles consumed, The quick
starter for BOTH 1.9.69 AND 1.9.95 were running SIMULTANEOUSLY.
I killed both quick starters, and did not use either until this epiphany. It
is running
BOTH quick starters running at the same time that causes the difficulty.
Right now, I am running 1.9.95 ONLY now with no problem what so ever.
Sorry about complaining about the software when it was space between the
chair and the keyboard, the nut holding the mouse.
Thanks, developers, for an excellent product. I look forward to trying all
the
OO.o things to be tried that I heard about from the Ubuntu list.
