As far as I can tell, there is no "power set" symbol (P with a double vertical line). This symbol is also useful as "projective space".
"{} divides P" is the closest I can get, but this still looks nowhere near right.
Any ideas?
Jack Waldron.
If you have a font installed which contains this symbol, you can define a code (such as %pset or anything which is easy to remember) for it within Math, by opening the symbols dialog box and clicking Edit. Or you can insert it into a normal text document using Insert - Special Character, then copy and paste it into your Math expression.
But first you have to find the character. It is included in the Math5 font (produced for Mathematica, downloadable for free from Mozilla I think), and in Code2000 (a massive font with just about every character and symbol ever devised), which is downloadable as shareware but very cheap ($5 ?).
Hope that helps
Andy
