open office version is 1.1.4 operating system is windows xp home edition and is a single user system.
I got the following message when trying to open a openoffice document. open office cannot start due to an error in accessing the openoffice.org configuration data. Please contact your system administrator. The following internal error has occured: Get Storage: "No Content" ------------------------------------------------------------------ I renamed the common.xcu file, to common.xcu.old, as instructed by the open org website. Iv'e looked in the office folder to see if a new common file had been created and it is there' but now i just get the openoffice.org filter selectioin screen when i try to open an existing openoffice text doc or open a new doc. Can anyone tell me how i can fix this problem.
