The keyboard shortcut for superscript CTRL+SHIFT+P (and subscript) doesn't work on my computer for OOo Beta2(1.9.95) (nor for 1.1.0). However it is clearly defined under "Customize", "Keyboard", as per the default setting.
I can't find a windows OS key conflict - anyone else have the same problem? O
