No, I had not received a reply. Thank you. I had received a faxed document and had tried to copy and past into word and was unable to copy the document and thus was looking for a way to be able to edit and fill in blanks on this document.

Note that if you have a PDF document you should be able to copy and paste much if the text into OOo. Also Koffice from KDE has PDF reading as an experimental feature.
