I have tried to look there, but I have still the same problem. It looks that the state persists for years. Everytime someone asks how to synchronize local database (in document and used for index) with general bibliographic database. And nobody answers - the same situation (no answers) is for all questions I have found on internet.
At mentioned mailing list I found two the same questions - one from 2003, second from last month :-(((
It looks that there is no way to sychronize data, or to have an option to avoid copy database data into document and use the database only...
(Comment in discussions: "This problem is well-known to us. It has been requested quite freqently and there are already issues about it: issues 26841 and 44189.")
I have found that in the OOoBib extension the problem will be considered but I am not able to find more information about it (about OOoBib)...
