I have installed Open office and it has taken over
my files. This is one of the topics of the FAQ's. But it didn't work for me.
After removing the association for .doc, .xls, .ppt files made by open office
those files were opened by the original MS program, without asking any question,
but original icon got lost. How can I re-associate the icon?
