Hi Jill, This sounds like a really strange problem. If possible I'd recommend that you update to OpenOffice.org 1.1.4 as 1.0.1 is more than 2 years old. You will find that 1.1.4 is much faster, has many bugs fixed and has many more useful features (e.g. printing directly to PDFs).
