As for your second question : when you try to download the software, the size of the files will be indicated, so you may abort the download if it is too big. But do not forget: there are compressed files which of course will be bigger when expanded.

Hi,
Can you please help me with two questions:

1. I am running Open Office v 1.1.0 at present, and in order to get use of all the features I had to load a Java Runtime first. Is this still necessary with v 1.1.4, or do I get everything with the non-Java download ? (I am running Windows XP home)
2. Can you please tell me how big the download is. We don't have much bandwidth in South Africa....

Thanks!

Regards,
Fiona McCutcheon
