[users] OpenOffice.org writer - autocorrect

I am trying to set up the autocorrect feature for typing some special 
characters.  I have added about 10 characters to replace under Tools - 
Autocorrect - Replace, but none of them are actually working when I go back and 
type in my document (they don't replace what I've typed.  Any suggestions?
