Dear staff,
Please help me with how to delete openoffice.org from my computer thank you
sincerely

Actually, Mac H., the box is labelled "Remove." I fine distinction to be sure, but you are replying to an individual who hasn't taken the time to learn anything about operating their computer, just how to launch applications, and that apparently not very well.

Frankly, I am in favor of making the installation of the betas at least as arcane as installing on Linux. It will keep the fingers out of the cookie jar of a lot of people who shouldn't even think of running pre-production software. The logic behind that statement is that the ones who cluelessly install pre-production software and have a problem will not be emissaries for OOo. Instead, they will be telling anyone who will listen how problematic it is to use. Of course, they won't tell the parts that will put themselves in a less than favorable light.
