Have you modified the soffice script? THere is a couple environment variables set in hte script that may help. Try enabling SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING and/or STAR_PROFILE_LOCKING_DISABLED to see if one and/or the other helps. -- PLEASE KEEP MESSAGES ON THE LIST.
