Nope. More than 256 columns is certainly a large spreadsheet. You
would have to do a search on the net to see if there were other
programs that can handle more. I certainly do not know of any off the
top of my head.

Is there a possibility of splitting a record across many sheets. If so
then you could have more than 256 columns for a single entry.

The suggestion that you will receive however is that potentially a
spreadsheet is not the best tool for what you are trying to achieve.
How about a DB - you'll not get this limit if the correct one is
chosen.
