You can't. Obviously Microsoft has not thought it's profitable to provide support for OpenOffice.Hi, Please advise how to read files created by Openoffice word using Microsoft Word? Looks to me that it is unlikly to be compatible.
On the other hand, OpenOffice can handle Microsoft Word documents, so there's a solution: if you absolutely have to open text documents created with OpenOffice in Microsoft Word, save them in Word format or rtf-format. Both can be accessed with File -> Save as and selecting Microsoft Word od Rich text Format from File Type menu.
