Yes, I think it means that he marked a range with an autofilter; 
when copying it overwrote everything in the block.  That's what I'd 
expect from a normal block copy but perhaps the autofilter is no 
supposed to do that?

Never used an autofilter or at least not with that name. (Guess I need 
to read more.)
