Which release of OOo? 1.1.3 was the last FC3 update and, in my opinion, did not work well as compared to the downloadable 1.1.4. From your description I would guess a bad update. Try removing what you have and running yum/up2date to get a new copy. Better skip the FC3 version and get 1.1.4 directly from www.openoffice.org. -- G.
