re: msword opening Writer file with messed up table

1. did you save your OOo Writer document as a .doc?
if not, try that and see if you get better mso
compatibility.
2. OOo is free... your friend can download and use it
to open your files. If they aren't careful, they
might like it and have to spend time figuring out how
to spend all their leftover cash!
3. as suggested, sending a pdf would sork, too.
