There are three pieces of information needed to register a data
source (in this case, a spreadsheet): Name, Database type, and Data
source URL. You did the first two, but you did not tell OOo where your
data source (spreadsheet) was located.
There are two ways to enter the URL (location of the spreadsheet).
You can manually enter the location in the window after the
"sdbc:calc:". Or, you can click on the right on the button with
the ..... in it. This is the browse button. Use it to browse to where
the spreadsheet is located and select that it. That will enter the URL
in the window. Click OK in the Data Administration window. That should
do it.
