[users] is there a Newsgroup?

[aptdoc acct]

Hello everyone.  I am just getting used to this mail list thing, and am 
concluding this is the Newsgroup for Open Office.  Is that correct, or 
is there a Newsgroup server to connect to, and how do I do that on 
Thunderbird?
