[users] Reformatting sub-documents

I am working on a master document that is drawing sub documents from a 
variety of sources. Many of the sub documents are badly formatted.

Is there a way to reformat existing (imported) sub-documents according
to the styles in the master-document?
Using OOo 1.9.104 -
