I have an Athlon based PC. I use both OpenOffice.org 1.1.4 and StarOffice 5 for writing text documents, spreadsheets and HTML documents.
Can you advise the best image format to use for inserting screen captures made with Paintshop Pro 8.1 into .sxc documents destined for export as PDFs? I am finding that captured text in jpg, gif, png and bmp images which is clear in the sxw frames is not legible in the PDFs. The look of it suggests over-compression may be the problem.
