It is hard to tell what the problem is since this mailing list
deletes all attachments. Since I use Mandrake 10.1, I have a hunch it
still may be a File permission problem. Send me this picture, and I
will see if I can figure out what the problem is.
Regardless of your problem, you need to upgrade your program.
1.9.104 is now available, and is much closer to the final product. Go
to www.openoffice.org, and click on "the beta version" in a green
rectangle on the home page.
There is one change in the tar ball. When you extract the files, it
places all the menu rpm's into the subdirectory, desktop-integration.
Delete all but openofficeorg-mandriva-menus-1.9.104-1.noarch.rpm. You
will also find the license, readme files, and rpm's have been place in
separate subdirectories.
To install 1.9.104, enter the RPMS subdirectory using Konsole. As
Root, I use this command: rpm -Uivh *.rpm. The U is the upgrade option.
(rpm -Ui *.rpm might work, but I like to see what is happening as it
installs.)
