You'll have to provide a bit more information about why you cannot open
your files. Also, if you get OpenOffice from www.openoffice.org, you
don't have to pay anything or sign up. Judging from your message, I
assume you paid for OpenOffice, when you didn't have to. I'd suggest
you cancel your payment, if possible, and then download the latest
OpenOffice version for free, from www.openoffice.org.
